GB 3157 won the national corn grower's contest in New Mexico in 1997 with a high yield of 284 bushels. (20 bushels higher than the next closest competitor.)

GB 3157 is Mr. Versatile. This hybrid emerges out of cool soils, likes hot temperatures, has better than average ratings of drought tolerance, has great yields under a wide range of populations, and dries down very fast for early harvest. This hybrid had never won a beauty contest, but it is a yielding hybrid and a provides a consistent yield in your field every year.
