GB 738Y is a medium height plant with an excellent leaf canopy. GB 738Y should be planted in 30 inch rows or narrower row spacings for best performance. GB 738Y also works well in no-till planting conditions with fast and uniform stand establishment. GB 738Y is an excellent cream colored quality grain ideally suited for flaking and feed mill rations. A large root system and strong leafy stalks contribute to GB 738Y’s late season plant integrity.

GB 738Y is a versatile medium early maturity grain sorghum hybrid. This hybrid is widely adapted to most soil types and particularly thrives on varying soil types on most farms.
