PLANT CHARACTERISTICS

GB 747 offers superior yield advantages over comparable competitive hybrids in the medium to late maturity range. GB 747 is a very large planting seed with outstanding emergence and excellent early season growth vigor.

The hybrid also produces very large grain that will impress your elevator manager. An excellent large grain in livestock operations for it's ability to flake well.

GB 747 has excellent standability under most conditions even though it is above average in height. GB 747 should be planted at nominal, not excessive plant populations.

USE OF HYBRID

Plant GB 747 on your better irrigated land. This hybrid has a superior ability to produce bin-busting yields of rich red grain under high management practices. Best planting dates are May 1 - May 15.

Excellent late season plant health and standability will offer growers greater ease of harvest long after competitive varieties have lodged.
